Following your instincts is not as easy as Sunny Sweeney makes it look. A patron saint of broken hearts on the mend, Sweeney comforts the rest of us by being honest with herself––and everybody else. She is her generation’s sly country conscience, warm but stubborn, sad but funny, rowdy but thoughtful. It’s an idea Sweeney has embraced in various ways throughout her career: Lean into who and what you are––and revel in the liberation that brings. Her fierce independence has allowed her to speak to us with the care of a trusted confidant who sees our hurts and is rooting for us. “I feel like that’s what I grew up loving about music––I felt like I was their friend,” Sweeney says. “I felt like they were talking––singing––to me.”
Andrew Crawford & Brandi Colt are a husband-and-wife bluegrass duo from Greenville, South Carolina, whose music blends the fire of traditional Appalachian bluegrass with contemporary country and Americana songwriting. Anchored by Andrew’s high-energy flat-picking and Brandi’s soul-stirring lead vocals, the pair deliver tight harmony, honest storytelling, and pick-up-the-room instrumental energy that connects with both new listeners and roots music purists.

Andrew is a career guitarist, instructor, songwriter, and producer who has spent years touring, teaching, and recording. His solo work includes the acclaimed album The Lonesome Season, and he has recorded and shared stages with many notable names in roots and bluegrass music. Brandi brings a luminous voice and a knack for emotional phrasing that elevates the duo’s originals and reinterpretations alike. Together, they split duties on vocals and instrumentation, recording as a duo and collaborating with top musicians in the bluegrass scene.

Since pairing as Crawford & Colt, they’ve released a steady stream of singles and videos — including “In This Dirt,” “Gamblers & Gypsies” (featuring Alex Williams), and “All I See Is You” — through Bonfire Music Group. Their duet project and recent singles showcase traditional bluegrass arrangements with contemporary storytelling and powerful harmony work, bringing timeless sounds to new audiences.
