Narcotic Wasteland is an American death metal band led by Dallas Toler-Wade, former guitarist and vocalist of Nile. Formed in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the band blends old-school death metal, technical precision, thrash-driven aggression, and blunt lyrical themes about addiction, corruption, personal struggle, and modern decay.
The band self-released its debut album, Narcotic Wasteland, in 2014. After Toler-Wade left Nile in 2016, Narcotic Wasteland became his main creative focus, leading to the release of Delirium Tremens through Megaforce Records. The album expanded the band’s sound with sharper production, heavier grooves, and lyrics confronting addiction, pharmaceutical culture, and toxic human behavior.
Built around aggressive riffs, intense vocals, and a live-first mentality, Narcotic Wasteland continues to bring uncompromising death metal to fans through new music, touring, videos, and official merch.
